On Marketing & Building Your Brand, Briefly

It always comes back to content, in my opinion. This has been consistent since the early days of Google Search. Sure, there were SEO strategies that gave you a bit of juice, but those haven't been super esoteric for at least 10 years.
You have to put out good content and build your brand. Your brand is like a mosaic / tapestry of all the little interactions your firm has with prospects and customers.
A grand tapestry takes time to weave, but it ultimately comes down to consistent progress that slowly creates a portrait of what you want your firm to look like and how you want your customers to see you (as well as how they actually see you).
This is, of course, an investment. But, ultimately, as slow and involved as that investment is, once it's built to some meaningful level (i.e. critical mass), it starts paying real dividends.
The problem is that most entrepreneurs give up too soon. It's hard at first. It's painful. It's unpleasant. You'll feel demoralized because nothing's happening. It'll feel like the needle isn't moving. But no investment makes an immediate return.
The point is this:
Do the work. Put in the time. Put in the effort.
It'll eventually make sense. Trust me on that.
Don't quit 5 minutes before the miracle.
Now, go create something amazing. I believe in you.
